The Town of Monroe is a close knit community, with a true small town feel. Everyone works together and it is a great place to raise a family.  The Town of Monroe is located 6 miles south of Decatur, IN just off of US 27 on SR124. 

  Monroe is home to several local businesses, including Zurcher Tire, Strick Trailer Corp., Country Corner Deli, Miller Land Surveying, Monroe Package Liquor, Bluhm Upolstery, Style & Tan Central, Harvestland CO-OP, Monroe Grain, Gamebird Taxidermy, Monroe Trophy, and the Bank of Geneva to name a few.

  Monroe is also home to Adams Central Community Schools. Adams Central houses grades K through 12 in one building. Adams Central High School is commissioned first class by the Indiana Department of Education and is a member of the North Central Association of Secondary Schools and Colleges.
