Town Marshal 
 
Dio Hernandez, M1
Town Marshal Hernandez was appointed by the Monroe Town Council in 2007 to replace Town Marshal Kevin McIntosh who stepped down in March of 2007. Town Marshal Hernandez is also currently employed by the Adams County Sheriff's Department as a Deputy Sheriff. Town Marshal Hernandez is also a certified Accident Recontructionist and is a member of the Monroe Volunteer Fire Department. Prior to his current employment Town Marshal Hernandez worked for the Wells County EMS, and as a Dispatcher and Reserve Deputy for the Adams County Sheriff's Department. Town Marshal Hernandez is a graduate of the Indiana Law Enforcement Basic Academy. 
 
Sergeant
 
Kevin McIntosh, M2
Sgt. McIntosh has been with the Monroe Police Department since 2002. Since 1999, Sgt. McIntosh has been employed by the Adams County Sheriff's Department as a Jail Officer. Before his current postions Sgt. McIntosh served as Town Marshal from 2002-2007, and as a Reserve Deputy, with the Adams County Sheriff's Department, from 1999-2001. Sgt. McIntosh was also a member of the Monroe Volunteer Fire Department from 2002-2007. Sgt. McIntosh is a Graduate of the Indiana Law Enforcement Town Marshal Academy.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
  
Reserves
 
 The Monroe Police Department Reserve Organization was started in March of 2008. It consisits of 1 Reserve Corporal and 3 Reserve Deputy Marshal positions. These Reserve Deputies carry out all the duties and responsibilites of a Full or Part-time Deputy Marshal.
 
Tony Heiser, M3- Reserve Corporal
Cpl. Heiser has been with the Monroe Police Department since 2008. He is employed by Zurcher Tire in Monroe. He is also a Captain with Monroe Volunteer Fire Department, and is a certified First Responder.
 
Kerry Hedington, M4
Dep. Hedington has been a member of the Monroe Police Department since 2008. He is employed by the Fort Wayne Fire Department, and is part owner of H&H Fencing. He is also a Captain with the Monroe Volunteer Fire Department. Dep. Hedington is also a certified Basic-EMT.
 
Jared Michaels, M5
Dep. Michaels has been with the Monroe Police Department since 2008. He is employed by Zurcher Tire in Monroe. He is also a member of the Monroe Volunteer Fire Department.
 
AJ Bertsch, M6
Dep. Bertsch has been a member of the Monroe Police Department since 2008. He is employed by the Adams County Sheriff's Department as a Jail Officer. He is also a member of the Preble Volunteer Fire Department and is a certified First Responder.
